Writing
A calendar is more than a way to check dates. For Bengali-speaking users, it can also provide information about tithi, nakshatra, festivals, auspicious occasions, and important cultural events.
A well-designed digital calendar makes this information accessible from a smartphone.
Combining Tradition With Technology
Traditional calendar information remains important in everyday life. A mobile application can make it easier to access relevant details without needing to consult a printed calendar every time.
Features of a Useful Bengali Calendar App
Date Conversion: View Bengali and English calendar dates.
Panchang Information: Explore tithi, nakshatra, and rashi details.
Festival Calendar: Find important festivals and holidays.
Reminders: Receive notifications for selected occasions.
Personal Notes: Save reminders and notes for specific dates.
Language Options: Make the app accessible to Bengali and English users.
User-Friendly Design: Navigate calendar information through a clean interface.

Lessons From the Project
Developing a calendar app involves more than designing screens. It requires careful attention to date handling, information presentation, navigation, and the needs of different users.
My goal is to build digital products that combine practical functionality with a straightforward user experience.
